About the Event
The possibilities of cinema are endless. And one of the most liberating roads one can take is to make moving images without cameras and lenses and editing programs.
We invite you to step into a world where you interact with the materiality of film directly. Where images are made using craft materials, plants and photochemistry. In this workshop, you will get hands-on knowledge of working with tinting and toning film, working with found footage, scratching and frame by frame animation, phytograms, collage making with film and more. We will have a 16mm projector where you can preview your work.
Come and explore handmade visual poetry with Harkat Studios on 16mm film!
All materials will be provided, along with light snacks and coffee.. There will be a break for lunch, which is not included with the workshop.
