About the Event
Srinivas Kurganti's first photbook, Pictures In My Hand of a Boy I Still Resemble is an evocation of memories at the tender thresholds of adulthood. A story of youth and intimate interpersonal relationships of the author as a twenty-something-year-old student in California and Mexico in the 1990s gives us a glimpse into the life of an immigrant & his chosen family through the lens of an artist who is looking back upon his early years through his archive of photographs.

Srinivas Kuruganti was born in Washington, D.C. but grew up in India. He has been archiving his photographs of 30 years of travels in India, America, and Europe.
