About :
Allan Parker is a senior lecturer on the MA and BA in Photography at Camberwell School of Art (London) and a visiting lecturer at Vidyashilp University in India (Bangalore).In 2020 he founded Footnote Centre for Image and Text in Belgrade Serbia with Mia Cuk. He continues his practice at the intersection of art and design which includes work in a range of media including creating and designing exhibitions and installations at independent and public galleries (V&A, Museum of Childhood) as well as producing commissioned and non-commissioned works in video, photography and print. His publishing imprint www.purelandpress.net produces self-published and commissioned books, projects which often include creative and critical writing.
