Cut, Cut, Paste

Cut, Cut, Paste is a hands-on workshop that uses interactive games to guide participants through creating unique collages from the noise of visual culture in print around us.

Join us in cutting your way through pictures, old magazines, and reality itself to create your very own surreal piece of collage art without being under any obligation to make ‘good' art. Participants are encouraged to break the rules and create eccentric and whimsical assemblages that destabilise semiotic conventions.

All materials provided at the venue, although participants are free to bring any old magazines or images they would like to incorporate into their pieces. Bio: Nishka Samant is a Mumbai - based multidisciplinary artist working primarily with the mediums of collage and polymer clay. 

Her work with polymer clay revolves around creating miniatures via exploration of colours, textures and experimention with the inherent transformative abilities of the material.
