About the Event
Have you sifted through a family album and had a sense of intrigue? In the language of photography that doesn’t use words, how do we learn how to read a photograph? Using aspects of shooting, editing, sequencing, and storytelling, the workshop focuses on the usage of archives as prompts to build upon memories. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with a curation of artist books from various genres to build their own distinctive voice. Beginners are welcome.
Requirements:
A phone with a working camera.
Each participant is encouraged to bring Four 4*6 prints (can be scanned and printed on regular photo paper) from a family album/ memory that they cherish.
