About the Event
Capturing photos without a camera? It's no trick of the devil, just a super cool scientific process called Cyanotype. It is a camera-less photographic printing process that uses UV light to produce cyan-blue monochromatic prints.
In this workshop we will be making some one-of-a-kind Cyanotype prints with the help of Kitsters Cyanotype Print Kit. As the name suggests, we will be using material that is old, new, and borrowed to create our masterpieces in blue. We will be using natural elements like leaves, flowers, stems, etc. but also materials like stickers, printouts, textures and anything that tickles our fancy. (All material is inclusive of the ticket price but please feel free to bring along any materials that you think might make for an interesting print!)
