About the Event
In a library full of books which are visually heavier than words, how do we learn how to read a photograph? In a workshop with photographer, writer, educator, and host of the JOJO initiative Between The Sheets - Zahra Amiruddin - participants will learn how to engage with photobooks and create visual narratives through imagery. Using aspects of editing, sequencing, storytelling, and photographing, the workshop focuses on building a language using images and engaging with artist books from various genres to find your own distinctive voice. Beginners are welcome.
